Samantha at Houston Animal HospitalI'm your typical crazed animal lover. I have a certification in animal control in the state of Texas and as well as a grooming certification. I love animals so much whenever I have the time I'll go to shelters like BARC or ASPCA to volunteer. For most of my life I've been riding and training horses so as well in my free time I enjoy going to the barn and jump crazy 4 foot courses, to me it is the perfect adrenaline rush. When I'm not working and at home usually a typical day for me consists of swimming, playing tennis, or reading books. From time to time I'll give myself a break and pig out and binge watch movies. I didn't grow up in Texas, I was raised in 6 states since my mom moves around a lot because she works for the government. Moving to Houston to start my "adult" life and to focus on my career, I plan on staying at Memorial Cat Hospital for a long time, I have the best job with the best people and getting to know and taking care of the cats that come here. I couldn't ask for anything better. Down the line I consider continuing my education at the Vet Tech of institute in Houston, or maybe even marine biology.

She loves getting to talk to clients about their pets and to help provide them with information to keep their pets happy and healthy! She is looking forward to joining the Memorial Cat Hospital team and meeting everyone so she can help provide exceptional care to their furbabies. In her down time, she loves to cuddle with her kitties – Romulus, Remus, Jake, Lance and Noodle, and her Chihuahua Mako. She also loves to spend time reading, crafting (knitting, sewing, drawing), or playing video games. She also regularly attends local comic book/anime conventions and the Texas Renaissance Festival.
