Melissa started her veterinary receptionist career at a dog and cat clinic in Spring Branch then joined the Memorial Cat Hospital family in 1999. She has assisted MCH in almost every aspect and has now taken on the role of Hospital Manager. Melissa has shared her home with a multitude of animals over the years, both domestic and exotic. In her free time, she does volunteer work and enjoys photography.

Ana's passion for animals led her to work at the Houston SPCA for eight years and then as a Doggie Daycare Manager. Joining the Memorial Cat Hospital family in the summer of 2010, she provides exceptional care and love to all the patients. Ana is also a Certified Pet Care Technician through the Pet Care Services Association and is actively involved with local animal rescue groups. She shares her home with two dogs, three cats, and two parrots ~ a beautiful Moluccan Cockatoo named "Ladybug" and a Sun Conure named Moonie.
Jeff moved to Houston from his native city, Austin, Texas, in June of 2008 and joined Memorial Cat Hospital in July of the same year. Jeff is kept company at home with 2 cats, Rasputin and Piper. When he is not at work Jeff enjoys the outdoors and traveling whenever possible.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Shelley graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania in 1988 with an Associates Degree as a Veterinary Medical Technician. She first worked for Memorial Cat Hospital from November of 1996 until March of 1998, when she "retired" to spend time with her children. We are happy that Shelly rejoined our team part time in May of 2004. She has been married to her husband Tom for 22 years. They have a daughter Lauren going into college and a teenage son, Christopher. They share their home in The Woodlands, Texas with 3 cats and 2 dogs.
Before joining the staff at Memorial Cat Hospital, Jenny attended Cosmotology school. It was then that she realized her passion for animals. She now enjoys applying her 12 years of experience to the well being of patients at MCH. She grew up in Dayton, Texas and currently lives in Houston with her 2 dogs Rascal and Ralph and 2 cats, Sylvester and Panda. In her time off she enjoys bon fires and grilling, while hanging out with friends. Her idea of a great vacation is hiking, paddle boarding, and fishing.
Shelbi grew up surrounded by animals. She always had a tremendous passion for cats. After graduating from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston with an Associates Degree, her first choice was Memorial Cat Hospital for her externship. She has three cats and one dog. She likes to play the guitar in her spare time and hang out with friends and family. She comes from a very large family and they are all a big part of her life. She says “It’s such a pleasure to work here and I couldn’t be happier.”
Animal Care Technician
Robert joined our family in the fall of 2010. In his spare time he enjoys reading, writing, and skateboarding. He also studied film making at Houston Community College. He does not own a cat, but would one day like to adopt a Maine Coon.
Susan taught for St. Francis Episcopal and Chapelwood Methodist School for 35 years. She is a native Houstonian and has been married to Danny for 47 years. The Parker household includes eight pampered felines and a human daughter, Jordan, who is in graduate school at the University of St. Thomas. Jordan has worked at MCH off and on from age 16 to now. Susan loves working with cats and kids, and thinks it doesn’t get any better than this!
Teresa has worked on and off at Memorial Cat Hospital for almost a decade. She left the clinic family in 2008 to rear her twin boys and then left again to rear her daughter; always returning to the clinic family to take care of us! Teresa has owned cats and several exotic pets. Her household now includes Amelia the Sphynx.
